Course Unions

What are Course Unions?

Course Unions provide supports to programs that are 2 or more years in length. Any Camosun student may participate in the activities of a course union without being a member of the program or school. Course Unions hold at least one public seminar per year and provide a foundation for community within programs. Course Unions were added to the Clubs Program in August 2015. Below is a list of currently established course unions. If you would like to find out how YOU can start a course union, please review the Clubs Policy and go to our SUPPORTS FOR GROUP ORGANIZERS page.

Camosun College is very excited to announce the launch of their Exercise is Medicine® club. Students involved in this club will have the opportunity to work with real clients in physical assessments and program planning.

Throughout the calendar school year, the Exercise is Medicine® Club will organize informational seminars on a variety of healthcare issues highlighting the effectiveness of exercise as a modality to prevent and treat these illnesses. These sessions will be provided for health care professionals, students and the general public.
